Finding the IMEI Number of Lost iPhones

Unlike Google, Apple doesn’t store the device information on its servers. But if you have ever made a local backup of the device using iTunes, you can easily track down the IMEI number. Open iTunes and navigate to Edit—>Preferences. Here, open the Devices tab and you will be able to see all the devices you have backed up using iTunes. If you will just hover the mouse over the device, you will be able to see the IMEI number along with the serial number of the device. That’s it, make a note of it and take necessary action.

However if you never created an offline backup of your phone, there’s no way to find the IMEI number of the lost iPhone. Still, you can try to log in to your iCloud account and select the option Find my iPhone. If the device is at all connected to the internet, you can send stress signals to the phone and locate it anywhere on a map.

Conclusion

That was how you can track down the IMEI number of your lost Android and iPhone if you don’t have the box in which the device was shipped. If you are aware of any additional trick to find the IMEI number for a device please share it with us, it can help someone to recover their lost phone.

Share it as more as possible because your one share can save somebody lost iphone or ipad.....!!
