After you save the settings, the app will automatically apply the preset volume settings whenever you are in the area. 

 

In the settings you have a volume locker for when the phone is in a locked state along with the ability to choose the notification widgets. There’s an experimental feature here that can set different alert levels for ringtones and notification tones. This helps when you wish to ignore your WhatsApp and Messages pings, but still want to keep the ringer on loud.

Finding the IMEI Number of Lost iPhones

 Unlike Google, Apple doesn’t store the device information on its servers. But if you have ever made a local backup of the device using iTunes, you can easily track down the IMEI number. Open iTunes and navigate to Edit—>Preferences. Here, open the Devices tab and you will be able to see all the devices you have backed up using iTunes. If you will just hover the mouse over the device, you will be able to see the IMEI number along with the serial number of the device. That’s it, make a note of it and take necessary action.

However if you never created an offline backup of your phone, there’s no way to find the IMEI number of the lost iPhone. Still, you can try to log in to your iCloud account and select the option Find my iPhone. If the device is at all connected to the internet, you can send stress signals to the phone and locate it anywhere on a map.

Sticky Keys, Filter Keys and Toggle Keys

Ever happened to press the Shift key 5 times in a row? You must have come across a popup box asking you if you want to enable or disable these keys. Here you can directly toggle the options, but before we do so, let’s see what exactly these features are and how they can help us.

Open Ease of Access Center and click on make the keyboard easier to use. On this window, scroll down to the section ‘make it easier to type’ to see the options to turn/off Sticky Keys, Toggle Keys and Filter Keys.

So let’s take a quick look at the functions of these keys.

Most of the times while typing I accidentally press the Caps Lock button instead of ‘A’ key and then continue in the uppercase realizing only after I’ve typed two to three sentences. This is where Toggle Keys feature can come in handy. After you enable this feature, you will hear a notification sound whenever you press Caps, Num and Scroll Lock keys.

Sticky Keys

 Sticky Keys stick your Alt, Ctrl, Del and Windows Logo button even after you release them so that you can perform windows shortcut operations without having to press both the buttons simultaneously. Suppose you have enabled Sticky keys, and you want to open Windows Explorer using shortcut keys. You can press and release Windows button and then press the E key, even after some time, to get to the Explorer window.

 

 

There are some advanced settings you can configure in Sticky keys. Just click on the link Setup Sticky Keys to configure the settings.

Turn on Filter Keys

 

 

Filter keys are meant to ignore the repeated keystrokes you press accidentally while typing. After you enable it, don’t forget to configure the default response time, or you will have to wait forever to write a simple paragraph.
